If you were unable to attend the neighborhood meeting in September regarding the reasoning of Englewood Plaza (former Hobby Lobby site), they provided a recording from the meeting. A PDF of the slides can be provided upon request.
And more!
Meg Griffin Donaldson: Hi! I live on Delaware Street with my husband Pat, and our scruffy pups Murphy and MacKinnon. We have lived here for 8 years and been involved with the City in different ways over the years. We are excited to call Englewood home and love all our unique city has to offer…the people, local businesses, restaurants and accessibility to the outdoors. We want to help make our neighborhood more inclusive and vibrant, creating a strong, local community. We can’t wait to meet you!
Nathan Hoag: My family lives in the red house on the corner of Eastman and Bannock. It's the one with all the scooters and toys in the yard all the time (sorry if you've had to navigate toys and children on that sidewalk). We moved into that house about four years ago and we love our neighborhood! I'm the pastor of a church called The Sacred Grace Englewood that meets in the brick building right next to Allyn's Fabric on Acoma. My wife, Julie, is a nurse and our three kids are enrolled in Englewood Schools.
We are foster and adoptive parents so the size of our family is always in flux. We love camping, climbing, biking, and really anything that gets us outside.
We LOVE Englewood, especially our neighborhood. We are so hopeful for the future of this city and we want to be a part of making it a little better every day.
